Part Theater, Part Museum, Key West invites you to relive the days of the Wreckers. Featuring Interactive Presentations, Actors, and Video Footage that re-create vestiges of Key West's once lucrative wrecking industry. During the 1800s many ships passed by the port of Key West daily - Many Running Aground on the Reef. One of the 19th Century Wreckers, Asa Tift, Original owner of the Hemingway House, tells his story of salvaging the goods of the SS Isaac Allerton. Shows every 30 minutes, daily.
