There are nearly 25,000 people that make Key West their home, and up to 40,000 tourists during certain times of year that Vacation on the Island, and still Key West retains it's small town charm. Key West has two main parts: Old Town (Down Town) and New Town - The quaint Old Town area is rich with historic sites and architecture and tropical foliage and trees. Many venerable houses and buildings now function as Restaurants, Guesthouses and Inns, Museums, Shops and more. Old Town is anchored by Duval Street, Which has been dubbed The Longest Street In The World because it runs from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf Of Mexico.
