Key West Fantasy Fest Key West invites you to take part in it's most extravagant celebration. Each year approximately 50,000 vacationers visit Key West to take part in this great event. Fantasy Fest Week resembles Carnival and Mardi Gras. Each year, Fantasy Fest features a new theme, which brings the creativity of many of Key West's Artists to the street. It is more of an Adult celebration with lots of creative costumes, body painting, floats , and lots of beads and beer.
	Throughout Fantasy Fest, Key West brings it visitors a variety of things to do, starting with Goombay Festival (A Caribbean Festival that is hosted in Key West's Bahama Village - Live Music, lots of Food and Caribbean Arts and Crafts). In addition, there are a few costume contests that take place. The two main locations in Key West are the Ocean Key Resort and the Pier House Resort. The Casa Marina Resort hosts the Pet Masquerade where locals and pets alike dress up and compete. Fantasy Fest brings Key West's Entertainment to it's peek with lots of Live Music and Entertainment. Sloppy Joes Toga Party is an all night blast. Irish Kevin's Entertainment Complex brings you lots of Live Entertainment and Comedy. Key West's Duval Street is closed off and becomes an All Night Party.
Saturday night is the night of the Parade. Key West's Duval Street becomes a huge costume party. Floats Created by the Locals parade down the streets, Live Bands, lots of costumes and body painting bring the party to ecstasy. Best of all, charity organizations benefit greatly from moneys raised, including the none profit Florida Keys AIDS HELP and the Florida Keys Children's Shelter.
