Conch Republic Independence Celebration

Key West Celebrates the Conch Republic Independence in the month of April of every year for ten days. It officially commemorates the attempt to secede from the United States on April 23rd, 1982, due to the U.S. Border Patrol's roadblocks that where setup to screen for drugs and illegal aliens. During the festivities officials of the fictitious Conch Republic host a picnic, fashions show, buffet, and a pirates ball. The main event is called "The Bloody Battle", where the Conchs fight the U.S. Coast Guard in a "Water Fight" held at sea... It's a Must ...!
